This is the pumpkin pie my mom has always made. I think she got the recipe out of the newspaper or something many years ago. The filling is closer to a pumpkin custard than a traditional pumpkin pie filling. Coeur d'Alene is a city in Northern Idaho, by the way ;) -- posted by qotw13
