Hi guys!


Well, I just got back from the “party” at work but unfortunately the party was just code for “meeting” and it was very long! At the end of the three hours though we did get some drinks so I had a nice glass of merlot ;) Thanks to my super filling snack before I left, I wasn’t hungry at all and put off snacking on unhealthy things the whole time!

A plain chobani with a crumbled SCM cookie! YUM! And super filling, too! It got me all the way from 3:45 to 8:00 no problem!


When I got home around 8:15 I was pretty hungry though so I made the quickest meal I know: a mess. =)

This delight included 1/2 cup whipped cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Quaker oatmeal squares, 1 tbsp peanut butter, a banana and some blackberry preserves. Love in a bowl, folk. Love in a bowl. So glad I didn’t fill up on cheese and crackers and got to enjoy this!


And I got a special surprise in the mail!

Barbara, you rock my world. Simply said! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!! I can’t wait to try one of these bad boys tomorrow as a pre-ZUMBA snack! That’s right—tomorrow I am going to do my very first Zumba class from 6:30-7:30, so dinner will again be rather late and I’ll need a filling healthy snack to get me through. I can’t wait..I’ve wanted to try Zumba forever! Now I just have to decide which one to try tomorrow…they both look so yummy!


It’s already 8:45 and I still need to shower and do my bible study before bed so I gotta jet! I hope yall had a wonderful evening though and I will see you tomorrow afternoon before I go to Zumba! These bi-daily posts are really working well for me right now and I like being able to post more than once like I had been doing. I just feel like I always have so much to say that is hard to cram into one gigantic post at the end of the day! :)
