These are so yummy and they make a great appetizer! I got the idea from my friend, Mia . . . Thanks! :)

12 Fresh Jalapenos
8 Oz. Cream Cheese, Softened
1/2 pkg Bacon, cut in thirds

Cut jalapenos in half, length-wise. Remove the seeds and the white membrane (the source of the heat; leave a little if you like things HOT). Smear cream cheese into each jalapeno half. Wrap jalapenos with bacon piece and secure by sticking toothpick through the middle. (At this point you can freeze them, uncooked, in a Ziploc bag for later use).

Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Bake on a pan with a rack for 20-25 minutes. If after 20 minutes the bacon doesn't look brown enough, just turn on the broiler for a couple of minutes to finish it off. Serve em' Hot!! Make more then you think you need because they go fast!!
