Sorry its a little late getting it on here but for any last minute ideas here you go! I adapted this recipe from My Sister's Cucina
Ghost & Mummy Cookies
1 package Nutter Butter Sandwich Cookies
1 Package Oreo Sandwich Cookies
1 Block Vanilla Bark
Mini Reese's Pieces
Ghost: Melt Chocolate according to package directions. Dip Nutter Butter cookies into chocolate. Lay flat on wax paper. Place 2 mini reese's pieces for eyes.
Mummy: Melt Chocolate according to package directions. Lay Oreo cookies flat on wax paper. Drizzle chocolate back and forth over cookie to make mummy bandages. Remember, its good to see some of the cookie still. Place 2 mini reese's pieces for eyes.
***I used a block of Vanilla Bark for mine, and one block had enough chocolate to do a package each of the Nutter Butter and the Oreo cookies.
I used these for visiting teaching. I attached a card that said:
Happy Halloween on the front.
On the back it said:
Since this is the time for goblins and bats,
Halloween spirits and ghosts and cats
Weird happenings and witches brew,
These are the things that We wish for you . . .
May the only ghost that comes to stay
Be the Holy Ghost to guide your way.
May the only spirit you chance to meet,
Be the spirit of love and warm friendship sweet.
As we come to visit and talk with eachother About the gospel of our elder Brother,
We hope that you feel the spirit and love, That can only come from our Father above. These are our Halloween wishes to you
And may Heavenly Father bless you in all that you do.
