Ahhhhh… tonight was just what I needed: a night home on the couch with my favorite person and good eats. Mal offered to pick-up the sushi on his way home from work, so he chose the rolls and placed the order. From Fuji 1546, he ordered 3 rolls: spicy tuna maki, tempura maki, and negihama maki (yellow fish + scallions). The spicy tuna and tempura maki were both fab. However, I didn’t really care for the negihama maki– it was too “fishy” for me.

Tonight’s ”dessert” was the perfect ending to a perfect sushi take-out dinner! I finally bucked-up and ordered a couple of jars of Barney Butter. I agree with most of you that it’s expensive, and honestly, I wasn’t going to spend the money to order it online, buuuuut, Barney Butter is so frickin’ delicious!!! It’s like no other nut butter I have ever tasted. I just needed to have more! As soon as I arrived home this evening, I immediately opened one of the jars, and dug a spoon right in. Delish!
After eating dinner, I made myself a wonderful piece of Arnold Double Fiber bread with 2 heaping tablespoons of Barney Butter smeared on top. I’m in love again!
I’m hitting the sack early tonight. Good night, all!
